What is your ideal...?

I just bought 200 pts at BLT last month and have already set in motion the goal of adding between 75 and 100 pts by mid 2011 (haven't decided where - next year we are going down for our wedding and will be staying at BWV, AKL, and BLT througout a 2 week period). I would really like to be able to take family and/or friends with us - and simply cannot bank and borrow to the point that I have to miss an annual trip...I'm not sure what would happen to me at this point if I had to do without my Disney Fix for a year - I am already getting a bit antsy for my next vacaton and it's not for 11.5 months!!!

I would also love to add about 75 pts at VCG - but that's just in my "ideal world" - may not happen for a few years...

Our 'perfect' number was 200 based on 1BR at BWV in January for 7-night stay. We started with 150, later added 25 points ... then later again added 160 which pushed us well over our goal. We are finding ways to use all the points and plan to enjoy them for a few years then re-evaluate returning to a lower number.

We started with 225 enough for 1 week in a 1 BR every year. HA!!! Since we bought resale with banked points - we HAD to use them so we quickly realized for us 1 week a year was not enough. We added 150 on and are talking about 75 more. That will allow us one trip just the four of us plus one to bring along family or friends. Also it will give us 225pts for each of our girls. So far we have all of ours at SSR which we LOVE but the next 75 will probably be at BLT.

I also started having $20 a week put into a separate savings account so that when our dues come I pay them on my Disney VISA but have $1000 toward the cost!!!

Thanks to everyone for their responses - I'm glad we have settled on 250 points to begin with. Thank Goodness its resale!
