Hi we are going to Orlando in April. We will be renting a house and visiting WDW most days. I was wondering what everyone else is budgeting for food and what is included in your budget (packing lunch, all sit down meals or counter service.............) I would like to see if we are planning correctly.
Thank you

When we have a condo, we typically eat breakfast in condo, pack 1/2 lunches (a few sandwiches, water bottles, snacks) and buy 1-2 adult lunches and 1 kids meal for 5 of us. Lunch is about $5 for kids meal and $10 for adult.
We usually go back to condo to eat dinner or get piazza or KFC on the way back.
If we stay in the park at night, we eat counter service, but 1-2 nights of the week, we do a sit-down meal, either character, buffet, etc. at WDW or a WDW hotel. Groceries for the week run about $150--we get steaks and/or chicken, hot dogs, spaghetti stuff, lunch stuff, cereals and sodas.

Thanks that helps!! Our plan sounds like what you do i just wan't sure if it works or if there were pitfalls we needed to look out for.
