Do any of you have an absolute FAVORITE travel guide? I have the 2003 Unofficial Guide and just bid on the Passporter Guide for $2 on Ebay-- what guide (s) do you all love?

thanks again!

The Unofficial Guide is definitely the best in my opinion - can't wait until the 2005 comes out! I also really like the "Birnbaum's WDW by Kids for Kids" for my children. The love the pictures and descriptions written by other kids - they look at it all the time and it's been over a year since our trip and it's 10 months until our next! Have fun planning!

My favorite so far is the Passporter. I'll admit I haven't tried the Unoffical Guide for WDW yet, but I did try the Disneyland version, and found it to be a bit too "commando" for my taste. The Passporter gives a good overview of everything, and thanks to the Pass Pockets, also serves as the "lazy man's scrapbook" when the the trip is over! :D

Another vote for the Unofficial Guide and Passporter. I love them both, but I take my Passporter with me on my trips to Disney. They both have great information that is very helpful to our families.

I have to go with Passporter, the Unofficial guide seems a little too critical on some things.

I use TourGuideMike.com (not really a guideBOOK per say), The UG and PassPorter. All three mesh together really well for me.

Blessings :)

My fave is the UG, although I haven't tried the Passporter yet. Alot of people like it so much, I gotta check it out!

I have to say both UG and Passporter. I find that between the two, I have everything I need to know. I find that one fills in places that the other is missing. I also appreciate the reader comments (both good and bad) in the UG - I don't find it too critical - just gives you one person's honest opinion. You also have to take everything with a grain of salt - just because one person loves something doesn't mean you will and vice versa. It is helpful to know why they feel that way.

I think you cannot go wrong with both guides. I buy new ones each time they come out.

Unofficial Guide and Tourguidemike (a website) are the best. Both cover things not found elsewhere. I don't really like Passporter myself.

My personal favorite is Birnbaum's. I don't like the Passporter - too confusing - very hard to find specific info.

Unofficial Guide gets my vote, but I haven't tried Passporter. :wave2:

I especially enjoy all the pockets to hold your daily finds!
The Best online info is HERE!!!!!!
:earsgirl: :earsboy:

My best source is my DD13 who reads all of the guides and has this ability to remember every last detail of them. (She also remembers my shopping list down to the last item!!!) :wizard:

Another Passporter fan here! I buy the Unofficial Guide too because it has lots of info, but the Passporter is more concise (IMHO).

For Universal, I like Kelly Monaghan's book.

Another Passporter fan. I used to like the Birnbaum book, but the Passporter has a lot more info.

The Unofficial Guide is my favorite of all the ones I've read (borrowed them all from the library first, then bought the UG). I would like to have a Passporter tho!

The Unofficial Guide rules! I also loved using the Passporter to have a journal of the trip.
