What is your favorite thing to give for Christmas this year.
It seems like people have what they need. So what interesting or creative thing are you giving.

The only people I buy for outside of my daughter are my parents, and they really do have everything they need. I usually end up giving them a gift certificate for a restaurant and an offer to babysit their dog while they go eat.

I make "faux" stained glass portraits. I have family members who have a gallery of them!

Every year I'm asked what will be the theme this year. I try to match them up with the personality of the person I give them to. For instance I gave my sister a very provocative one of a male form... ... and my friend's son got SPIDERMAN! I gave my aunt an African woman and my son got a clown. I enjoy doing them every year.

This year I "inherited" my Mom's collection, all of which are still life or angels. She had the very first one I ever did! She really loved my "paintings" and portrayed them proudly. I just rehung them in my bedroom. Just looking at them reminds me of how much pleasure she had when I unwrapped one for her.

What a nice present. I am not that creative. I have always enjoyed getting people presents that they really wanted. I love watching their face light up... especially when they are not expecting it.
