We are a party of 5 DH, DD (11), DD2 and DD1. We love going to sit down restaurants and take the j=kids out 2 - 3 times a week. They are really good at restyaurants so that isn't a big issue.
We currently have a ressie for Fling Fish but I wans curious about Narcoosees ond Artist point too.
What is your favorite and why.
Thsi trip we are also going to
Le Cellier, San Angel, Boma, GG and Kona. I don't mind switching to a 1 TS credit meal either.
Thanks
Heidi

I think all the signatures are good. Look at the menu's and see which would appeal to your group the most. Flying Fish is one of my favorites.

Narcoossee's is our favorite! Number one, it has delicious quality food! I especially love the whole maine lobster, it is sooooo good! The surf n turf is also delicious! The service is fantastic and very attentive.

The view is wonderful if you can get a window seat. If you are there for Wishes, then you can also go out on the dock and watch.

We enjoy taking the resort launch to the GF from the MK, it is a nice relaxing ride.

So far Narcoossee's is our favorite dining spot in all of WDW! :thumbsup2

We go back everytime we go.

I really like Jiko.

I have heard good things about Narcoosee's but am not a big fish fan so have never been myself.

The best meal of our trip was Flying Fish Cafe. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic! We enjoyed mojito's, calamari, crab cakes, salmon, scallops, potato crusted snapper, cheesecake, heirloom apple dessert, and the warm valrhona chocolate gallette. We ended up leaving extra tip for the waitress because of her exceptional service.

Narccoossee's was another story. We had high hopes, since our waiter came up almost immediately and the appetizers were fantastic. Then came the entrees. The whole lobster was good, but the surf & turf was not. The steak was a poor cut, ordered medium well, but it was rare. I mean bloody rare, no steak texture even to the middle. The lobster tail was rubbery. Way over-cooked. And the waiter? No where to be found. We were never checked on again until the dessert menus were brought out. My son's drink was never refilled, even tough it was empty after our appetizers. We left here full, but disappointed. For a $300 meal, I expect more. My filet from Le Cellier and from Kona were both far better cuts and cooked to order.

Wow - tough question. Our favorite would be AP followed closely by Yachtsman.

We love AP for the wonderful menu, atmosphere and wine list. A very nice place for a relaxed "adult" meal.

We love Yachtsman for great steak in an elegant (but not overstated) environment.

Hi,
My personal favorite is Jiko...if you like wine they have a great wine list but alcohol aside, they have dishes there that I truly don't find in a lot of other places. We have been there twice with our young children (first time, twins age about 3 and about 14 months, the second time age 4 and a little over 2) and enjoyed ourselves beginning to end each time. That said, it really is a place to try new things....not really a great place for those looking not to try new things.

p.s. my second choice is flying fish.

They are all pretty good. I am partial to Jiko, the food and atmosphere are really unique.

Each is a different experience.

They are all good, I think Jiko has been my favorite. It stands out for me due to the great wine list, the quieter more romantic environment, and the filet with mac and cheese.

I loved the California Grill and the Yachtsman. The food at California Grill was unbelievable and we had mickey confetti all over the table as it was our anniversary which was so sweet. The view was fabulous from the window (I tried outside but my fear of heights got the better of me) and we could see Illuminations from our table.

We are looking to start planning our ADR's soon for August 2008 and I would like to try Jiko or Artist Point this time.

California Grill. Excellent food and the best view in WDW.

Cali Grill......great food, great atmosphere and awesome view:thumbsup2

This past Thanksgiving we dined at Cal Gril and Jiko. I'll be honest, we won't be going back to Cal Gril. The noise level was too much, the food was awful (veal medalians and scallops were our two dinners). I mean awful - for both of us. No taste to our food, very bland. I know it's the luck of the draw, but our service was fine until our waitress got a large table. Then we went largely unnoticed, sat there with our dishes, unfilled drinks, etc.

Now Jiko, on the other hand, was an absolute pleasure. We've eaten there several times now and I don't think that there is a dish that is bad there. Service was superb.

We also ate at Coral Reef for Thanksgiving. That also was a good meal.

Jiko is by far a great meal. Its a hidden gem in WDW.

Jiko would be my number one - it is fantastic food and the service was amazing. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and with you having small children, they will love looking around the hotel and seeing the animals either before the meal or afterwards.

Nacoosees is good too especially if you eat when the fireworks are on

By far CG. Dine in the wine room, nice & quiet!

Thanks we have thought about Jiko. We are staying at AKL though so either way the kids can look around. We are planning on Boma too.

Artist Point is our favorite in all of Disney. Delicious food, excellent service and nice classy atmosphere. Of the ones mentioned here though we have not eaten at CG or YS yet.

We have heard enough good things about YS that it's our new one for March.

Got really sick after Jiko, but you never know if that was me, but enough so that we don't go back. The food was good though on the plus side.

Our Favorite is California Grill. Always an awesome meal!! We also make sure we eat late enough that we can watch the fireworks from our table. Our one night out without the kids, 9 & 6.

Might have to give a try to some of these others with rave reviews.

:cheer2:
