Want to make a ressie for our upcoming trip in Oct/Nov. I know V and A does not take ddp, so not interested in that one. What is everyone's favorite signature? We will probably be ordering steak. Thanks, Linda

Hi,

For steak, I HIGHLY recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club. :thumbsup2

Otherwise, I would vote for Citricos , in the grand floridian. Excellent food.

Flying Fish, then Citricos, then Jiko.

YSH has more variety for steak but it's way down the restaurant list for me.,

My favorite is Jiko because it's a quieter, more ambient atmosphere, and because it boasts some pretty unique flavors. That said, if you're going to order steak and you want a Dining Plan participant, I recommend the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

My favorite DDP signatures in order of preference:

1. Citricos
2. Jiko and Flying Fish
4. California Grill
5. Brown Derby
6. Artist Point

For a steak, I think the best one is the Char-crusted Rib Eye at Flying Fish.

I have never been to Yachtsman Steakhouse. They have several cuts of steak on the menu so if you want steak variety that might be your best bet. When you go to the other signatures, they will usually one have one kind of cut of steak on the menu (mostly a tenderloin).

California Grill. One of the best meals of my life and got to go out on the deck and watch the fireworks at MK.

DH has had the filet from Citrico's and the NY Strip from FF many times and each time it is fantastic. You cannot go wrong with either of those

We've only eaten at 2 signature restaurants (Yachtsman Steakhouse @ the YC and Artist Point @ the WL) and both were amazing :thumbsup2. We had filet at both places and we would have a hard time choosing which one was better as they were both unbelievable ;).

Artist Point is my favorite so far. I thought the buffalo steak was tender and juicy, and the blackberry reduction sauce was the perfect compliment. Plus, I love kimchi.

I've only been to AP, Narcoossee's, and Flying Fish.

Narcoossee's was good, but $50 for the lobster, even if you are using DxDP credits, is just too much on principle. It could be that I felt mine was a touch over-steamed. My wife had the steak there, and while it was good, I cook better steak at home.

Flying Fish. Is it just me, or does every dish there use basil in some form? Didn't get a steak here 'cause it was a fish restaurant. :)
