What is your favorite restaurant and why???

'Ohana....I've fallen in love with the place. The food is marvelous. I have never eaten in this type of setting before, and I love the bread pudding dessert.

Cellier is a close 2nd. That cheese soup is awesome, the pretzel bread is fantastic.

Way too many to choose, but we love Prime Time (fun interaction, atmosphere), restaurant in Morocco is close second. :cool1:

:cheer2:
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. It could be because I love Mexican food, but the atmosphere, with the little market and the River of Time is so wonderful. I made resv's for 08/18 with my husband for a quiet evening. We're hiring baby sitters!! Not only do I like this place, but it brings back great memories of my dad  and when he took us to Disney and we ate there so it's special for me...

I would have to say the Yakitori House in EPCOT. I lived in Japan for 3 years and this truly is Japanese fare. This is the one spot that I just won't miss. (Took me a while to decide on that one though).

we love the Sci-Fi! It's the one place that we know we will eat at on every trip, without question. We love the atmosphere, and have NEVER had a bad meal or service there. We don't expect it to be a fancy meal, though - we treat it as we think it should be " a hamburger kind of place". We always go for lunch. DH always gets a hamburger, and the kids always get chicken nuggets (the kids love to have carrots and celery with ranch for an appetizer), and I always order the chili and get onion rings for everyone to share. DH and the kids (twin boys who are 7 now) always get shakes. Last fall I ordered a cake ahead of time from them for DH's birthday. We are an "order everything well done" family and have never received any food that was undercooked there. We don't get why the Sci-Fi gets flamed so much. My SIL was scared to try it, and with our prompting, went for the first time in March. Our nephew liked it so much, they went there a 2nd time during their trip (and our two families tend to have pretty different tastes). I think it's always worth it just to try things for yourself (one man's heaven is another man's hell). :teeth:

Our fave is Mamma Melroses for food

and

Sci Fi for atmosphere

I love Boma. Even though I'm from the NY area, African restaurants are not easy to find. The food is great and the atmosphere/resort is top notch. There's nothing like a stroll thru the safari just after a meal.

 BOMA!!!
The food is so great, service is excellent and the deserts are out of this world. DH and I went in Jan. and are still talking about how great it is.

California Grill
Flying Fish
Fultons

It's more than the food...it's the service and the atmosphere.

California Grill for the wonderful food, yet I don't feel that their desserts are on par with the rest of the food. Going and seeing Wishes is an experience, but it kind of stinks that they don't dim the lights/pipe in the music like they did in the past. My last visit was a year ago and we had to go to the balcony to experience Wishes.........it was still incredible, though!

Jiko is another favorite..........great food, but I think that I like CG a little better. The great think about Jiko is the wonderful wine, and we had the best server in the world when we went 3 years ago named Shellie! I've kept in touch with her, and she said to request her again this year. She's absolutely AMAZING, and a sommelier (a wine expert for those that aren't sure what that means), so it makes the experience that much better!

Flying Fish just for the desserts.......the food was just so so, IMO.

We're trying Artist Point for the first time this year, so I'll be back to update! :teeth:

My favorite would have to be Fulton's Crab House if I were looking for seafood...

...if I was looking for a an elegant, romantic meal for two I would pick the Hollywood Brown Derby...

...since WDW is about (at least for me) family, fun and memories I would have to pick the overall winner as 50's Prime Time Cafe.

My family had the most fun here and we still talk about this experience. Yeah, the food was good, but the experience and the memories make it the best in my book!! One word sums it up...

...MAGICAL!!!pixiedust: :thumbsup2
