What is YOUR favorite month to visit HHI?

We have been there in June and November, and this time we are going in August. I would go just about ANY time, but I was wondering what is your FAVORITE time to be in HH?

Good question! I've been there may, june, july and august; I really liked june the best, seemed a little less humid. If you talk to experienced HHer's, they seem to like October, great weather, less crowds. Like you said, ANY month would be just fine by me!

anytime is fine, but we like Sep. cause it is still hot enough to feel like a beach vacation. Oct. is very nice and very enjoyable. It is a toss up. Oct. can be warm or cool. It just depends on the mood of the weather.

I like early April, when the azaelas are in bloom. It gets crowded around the Heritage golf tourney, though. In the spring and the fall, we enjoy a greater diversity of activities. If we go in the summer, we treat it much more like a pool/beach vacation.

Really, my answer should be "anytime." I just LOVE HHI!

Early October. Clear blue sky; hot sun; cool breeze; ocean still warm from summer; uncrowded. But then we've found that just about anyplace you go, October is a good time to be there.

The only time we've been there (so far) was the week after Memorial Day in 1992. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't too crowded. Now, with DS6 in first grade, we'll have to take our trips to HHI most likely in the June/July/August range.

We've been in November 2 or 3 times and in December once. DH wants to go in September to see how it is when it's a bit warmer.

So far, I like November best because we usually go during our anniversary week. It almost seems as if you have the resort to yourself before the T-day crowds arrive. But as others have commented, I'd go to Hilton Head any month!

We've only been twice; Dec/Jan and October. October was simply wonderful! I hope to go back this Oct. but, we're out of points and hoping for the Disney Visa great rate to come through!!!!

We just returned today. Except for the 4th, it wasn't that crowded anywhere on the island. Even the waiters & waitresses agreed that the island didn't seem as busy as past summers.

We have also been in late May & August. Late May was wonderful. Not as hot. There were heat advisories for the Island today.
