What is your favorite Marriott property? rop

We will be traveling to WDW for spring break. We cannot afford Beach Club for five nights, but thought we would stay there the last two or three nights of our trip, and stay the first two or three nights off-site at a Marriott property. What is your favorite? We don't need lots of frills but would appreciate at least a little of a resort feel vs a basic hotel lol. Thanks in advance! Can't wait to go - this is the third time we have rescheduled!

We have always stayed at Marriott Grande Vista and loved it. We have probably stayed there 5 or 6 times and always had a great stay. We are trying Marriott Lakeshore Reserve for our September trip and can't wait. It is supposed to be fabulous!

We have stayed at Grande Vista several times are and staying part of our trip before our Disney Cruise in Oct there again. It's a nice property and we like the location. We also stayed at Cypress Harbour and liked it a lot. We had shady building which I didn't love, but I would stay at either.

As for BCV, can you stay in a studio instead? I myself prefer a smaller room at DVC over a larger off site.

Since you're thinking about a resort style stay rather than a hotel stay I assume that you're thinking about a timeshare Marriott. We've stayed at three of the seven Orlando Marriott timeshare properties (Cypress Harbour, Grande Vista, Sabal Palms), visited a fourth (Harbour Lake) and walked through two others (Royal Palms, Imperial Palm Villas) so the only one that we haven't seen is the new Lakeshore Reserve property.

While I don't think that there's a bad resort amongst the Marriott group I think that I'd suggest either Cypress Harbour or Grande Vista for a great resort stay (we've stayed at both a few times). My family has a slight preference for Cypress Harbour - nice laid back atmosphere, terrific resort staff, superb villa units and very nice resort amenities and lay out. But we're always been really happy with either of those two resorts.
