So, what is everyone's favorite dish at Brown Derby? Looking forward to trying it very soon!

The Cobb Salad - it is AMAZING! I do realize it might not seem like a meal to some, but for me, it was plenty big and delicious! The best part? Its a $15.99 signature restaurant meal! ;)

DH got a special last time, highly recommended by our fab waiter, and he loved it! It was a fish dish, which DH always loves. I ate a bit of his, he had some of my salad, and then we each got our own desserts. If you don't LOVE grapefruit, don't get the grapefruit cake. Creme brulee was good, but not amazing. Look forward to trying another dessert on our upcoming trip. It was our best restaurant experience during our 9 day trip in May - so enjoy!

The Noodle Bowl. Much better than it sounds.

:)

I had an incredible soup... Brie Cheese and Oyster soup. Loaded with oysters and never would have thought this to be a good combination but the brie cheese and other flavor was so perfect. There's a lobster bisque soup on the menu now, I hope to try it. I also liked my seafood entree -- grouper with beets, etc... It's all in my review with pictures.

This is my favorite restaurant in Disney. I always order the cobb salad, and then end the meal with a cappuccino. :)

cobb salad for lunch (once I learned I can order it without the egg) and a martini sampler. I always like the grouper if I'm in the mood for a regular entree.

Another vote for Cobb Salad. The filet was very tender and tasty. Just a note if you are on the DDP you may want to make it the Fantasmic Package. It is still the same 2 TS credits as if you were just doing a regular meal. We had lunch reservations for 12 stopped in at 11 to see if they had anything sooner. Well...they said yes we dont open till 11:30 but we can seat you then. I said sure then she asked if we would like to be the first family to open. Sure why not...well this lady comes out dresses all of us ladies up in boas and my husband in a derby hat takes us outside to take pictures while telling all the people around we are park celebs and no autographs just pics. It was funny. My teenage daughter was about to die. Then she takes us back in for more pic and has us do a ribbon cutting to open up for the day. The whole wait staff is around thowing mickey confetti they then sit us at the directors table that overlooks the resturant (awesome spot). The table is covered with pixi dust. Our waiter comes out and tells us about the Fantasmic Package the diffrence is you not only get the main entree and dessert it also adds a appitizer for each person plus a ticket to get reserved seating at Fantasmic. We told him we were not going to Fantasmic because we were going to the MNSSH party at MK that night. He gave us the ticket any way and we gave it to another family. They were thrilled. The lady who had taken our photos came over and gave us each a copy of our pic in a cute scrapbook type print out. Very nice keepsake(we also got to keep the boas and hat).We ordered 2 cobb salads, crab cake and some other kind of ravoli. All were awesome. We all shared and the cobb salad they were huge and way to much for 4 of us. We ordered the filet, the Prons, the Pork Chop. Loved the filet and Prons, pork chops were good but not my fav. Best dessert was the Banana tower. Very Yummy. Sorry this was so long but just wanted to let you know about the Fantasmic package and making 11:30 reservations and arrive early if going for lunch.

I love the Brown Derby! The filet is really good there, better than the one I had a CG. In my opinion, Brown Derby has improved over the last few years.

Another vote for the Cobb Salad. I've had probably four around NJ since we returned home from our last trip and none compare. I am trying to think of a way to fit another trip to HBD into my plan for our trip in February just to get the salad. :thumbsup2

I can't stand the Cobb salad; the taste is fine but the oatmeal texture bothers me. We've been going to Brown Derby for years now and they always have a nice fish entree. I usually get the fish here because I know they can prepare fish properly.

I had the Sam Adams Braised Short Rib and it was great.

I just started to drool a bit when I read your post:laughing: This was one of the best meals I have ever had at WDW. I can still recall the aroma coming from the plate even after a year.:thumbsup2
