This is our 1st time in the world on easter and we have been there many times, so there is really nothing I would be upset about if we missed it. I really havent made too much of a plan yet and have left that day pretty much open for now. I did book hollywood and vine for dinner, but we will have to miss the stars and cars parade for that. Gee, wonder why that is the time they had available and its not even on the fantasmic pkg. which I asked for. I was thinking maybe a nice big breakfast at trails end or maybe cape may and then heading to epcot. Our 3 ds are teens so that might be the best bet I think. Anyone else like to share their plans or strategy.

that has been the biggest conundrum(sp?) of my intinerary. Do I go to MK on Easter sunday since I am a resort guest? Do I not bother and go on the other EMH day which is thursday? I just dont know. I heard on the DIS someone said they went to MK on Easter morning and it was fine because a lot of people do "easter" stuff in the morning (ie church, full breakfasts, etc.)so the park isnt as crowded as one might think. At least until mid-morning. I'll be checking back with this post to see if anyone's got better ideas. But to answer your question....I'm clueless too, we are used to being there early May and are 1st timers to Easter week as well.

Cluesless here as well :) We are actually arriving on Easter Day, as it was the only reasonable flight we could find. We are thinking of staying out of the parks, maybe doing Chef Mickey's for Easter Dinner (with twin 7 yr old boys) Wish I could find out if there was anything special going on, as CRO has no idea.

I've heard that there is a special easter parade at MK - a friend told me that it even includes the veggies and fruit from the old Kitchen Karbarnet -- but then someone else on the boards said there is no special easter parade any more, that it ended a few years ago ??

Would love to hear from folks who have been there on easter before, or anyone who has an idea to make Sunday special :)

Thanks,

We've planned to avoid MK altogether on Easter Sunday and will go later in the week. We've planned an Epcot day-even if it gets crowded it's so big that we'll have plenty of room to move around there. Have booked Yachtman Steakhouse for Easter dinner!

for heathrow 42 - did you actually book chef mickeys already because I called about 2 weeks ago I think and they said there was nothing available for any dinner I asked for for 7 days straight, except one at 8:30 on night I think. We declined, too late to eat for us. Thats is why I took hollywood and vine since we are staying at the swan.

We will be there on Easter also. Actually will be flying home that night.

I wonder if there is a Protestant church service on the property anywhere because I would like to go.

We're doing the Magic Kingdom on Easter. When I first booked our trip we were leaving on the 13th. Now we're leaving 11th.

Since Easter will our last day in the world, I just have to do MK.

I'm planning to get there for EE,try to make it to everyone's
favorites by 12:00 or 1:00. If the crowds turn out to be to much for us, then we'll hop over to MGM.
