I've been planning meals (in my mind - still too soon for ADR's!) for our next vacation and I was wondering what meals kids really like and remember. Our experience is limited - Boma, CRT and Crystal Palace are the only three table service restaurants where we have dined. When I asked my girls (3 & 5), they both said their favorite was CRT. Anyway, what did your kids enjoy?

We took my daughter in January last year when she was just shy of 3. We did lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe and that was her favorite. We took the boat over to WL from MK - which was just beyond cool to DD. When we got to the restaurant she found the Lincoln Logs and went there immediately. I think she would have been just as happy not eating as she was playing with the Lincoln Logs.

Well, duh! I totally forgot about this restaurant and we will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge! We did try to eat here last minute last year, but the only availability was around 8:00pm. Definately will have to try lunch or dinner here! Thanks:)

Hoop de doo review is a must do for us every trip. The kids insist on it. They also love Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Ohana's.

My 10 yo absoluely loved Ohanas breakfast, though it wasnt the food she liked, Stitch spent lots of time with her and Mickey and Pluto embarrased her sis for not wanting to play their games. My 14 yo loved Planrt Hollywood, not really disneylike in my book but it was cool from a teens standpoint.

My four kids love different restaurants...so we have to hit them all!! :)

Oldest DS loves Ohana...and those chicken wings
Youngest DS love Sci Fi...for the atmosphere
DD loves Tony's Town Square (i think that's the name) because she accidentally threw her retainer in the trash and DH had to dumpster dive to find it. :lmao:
And middle DS loves everything! :woohoo:

My son loved Teppanyaki for Dinner and CP for Breakfast!

In January we took DS and DD to HDDR. They loved it! And who could forget about the free beer for us? Our kids also like CP and WCC!

My girls love Crystal Palace. They also like Columbia Harbour House because they can sit in the "bridge" area upstairs and watch the people walk underneath them. We're real low-key!!

My kids love CM's for dinner, Boma for breakfast, CG for dinner & YS for dinner (they love the painting puzzle dessert there). :)

Mine love Ohanas for breakfast and my DD's love CRT!!

My girls would probably like that as well - Columbia Harbour House seems to get good reviews. My 5 year old told me Pinocchio's Village Haus was her second favorite ... pretty sure it was because we had a table next to "It's a Small World" and could watch the boats go by (or maybe it was the Pizza?).

Looks like I might have to consider the Hoop Dee Doo thingie - it was never in my top 10, but it sounds like the kiddos might enjoy.

HDDR is definitely something to try at least once. Our kids loved it-especially when they got the wash boards at the end to play along with the performers. :upsidedow

My girls (ages almost 4 and almost 2 on our last trip) LOVED Teppanyaki. The were totally entertained by the chef and absolutely enjoyed the food.

They are also huge fans of Chef Mickey's and strangely enough the Biergarten in Germany. They enjoy dancing to the entertainment and that there is so much food to choose from at the buffet.

My dd, 6, always loves eating breakfast with Cinderella in the castle and we just got back and did the Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine and she really loved that. It was great food and a lot of fun.

My son loves the Garden Grill in Epcot. Not because of the characters, but because the ride rotates over the Land boatride. He likes the change of scenery.

He enjoys LeCellier also, because he loves the breadsticks and cheese soup.

My DD loves 1900 park faire!

well any of the buffetts really shes a picky eater and she ate most of the stuff they had at park faire!

My sons favorite (granted, he was only 20 months at the time!), was easily Chef Mickey's for breakfast. For a young boy I dont think much can top eating with the characters plus having the monorail go overhead!
