What is your absolutely I will never forget moment at Disney?

Walking into the Wardrobe and into Narnia. I had dreamt of doing that since I was a child and as soon as I saw the snow, I burst into tears. People have really dogged that attraction, but it made a dream come true for me.

During our 1st trip to WDW w/my kids & my Mom, we saw Push the trash can. If you haven't seen him, try to find him in TL at MK. He walks & talks and obviously has camera in him becuase he realy reacts to the people around him. Our second trip the next yr...we looked and looked, but didn't see him.
We skipped WDW the following yr (never again) and went in 2006. As we entered TL ....There HE WAS! I am not ashamed to admit , we ran over to him and said hello. My kids had name bagdes on their lanyards and he greeted them by name (awww) , we told him we missed him and he said "I missed you too!" We visited for another couple of minutes and Push said "This is fun, what are we doing next?" I said "We're going to ride Winnie the Pooh, wanna come?" Push said "Sure!" and he put on some fun dance music and he walked all thru TL with us!!! We had a mini parade following us, everyone dancing as they walked. When we got to the border of TL and FL , push said that was as far as he could go, told us to have a magical day and rolled off back towards TL center. We talked about it for hours and had tears of joy in out eyes. It was such a small moment, I know. But it's a moment that my family & I will never forget. Thats why we love WDW. Its the little touches sometimes (not all the fanfare) that makes a magical memorable moment.

ps a friend I work with has over 20 visits to WDW under his belt and has NEVER seen Push the trash can!

anyone else have funny Push the trash can stories?

Trash the can, oh he is so funny. My daughter thought he was amazing and kept following him around. He talked to her for ages asking what she had be doing and so on. Also the talking palm tree at animal kingdom is cool.

I have so many special moments at Disneyworld its hard to pick one.

We went to ride mission space and by chance found Space mickey and pluto hidden down a track, there was no one around other than us and the children wanted pics. My daughter had a minnie hat on and Mickey saw it and came up and spun her around and gave her lots of mickey kiss's, my daugher was laughing so much i thought she would burst.

We were there this past June, We'd seen Wishes TWICE. It was my birthday and DD and I were offsite getting dinner (I KNOW I KNOW). We left there and headed back to WDW. We thought about going back and sleeping, but decided to go to MK to watch WISHES yet again. DD and I found a fun spot in the hub and snuggled in to watch Wishes AGAIN.

We'd memorized the song and DD sang it as it went. Then at the end.. when all the wishes came true at once, she said "Mommy, my wishes came true, Grandpa is gonna be okay".

[my stepfather had been in a serious car accident a month before and almost a month in a comma. That day, my birthday, he's been awake for a few days but it was the first day he talked.. he called to tell us he loved us. That was my sweet DD5s wish. we sat and cried for a bit.. GOSH I LOVE WISHES]

My son had a rough year when he was 6 because of a hip disorder. We did Disney in a large jogger type stoller that would accommodate him.

We were in the far back of World Showcase to view our favorite parade, Tapestry of Nations. We were a about 50 ft. to the right of where they come into the Showcase from "back-stage".

Many of the folks manning the tall puppets/walking acknowledged my son, "danced" with us, played around with him. He was beaming as was my DD(9 at the time). Okay, I was a complete sap, myself.....

We then got to hold the rope following the end of the parade; to the end of the route. I'm sure someone has video and laughs at the silly, middle-aged woman grinning/beaming/crying like an idiot.... :teeth:

I still get misty when we play our TON CD.

We went in 2002 before my DD could hear, she was born deaf.....then we went in 2003 after Cochlear Implant surgery.....the look on her face everywhere we went was UNREAL !! To put sound to the things she was seeing was beyond words for us.....

Either taking off on Soarin', which was amazing, or meeting Mickey in the judges tent after not meeting for 6 days of the trip. :goodvibes

My DD meeting Mickey for the first time and actually going up and hugging him herself. I just wanted to cry I was so happy!

You'll never forget it, never! One of my "never forget" moments came when Donald Duck bent down to DS, and DS whispered in his ear "I've been waiting to see you my whole life". Oh, yeah-that was almost 20 years ago. Fast forward to last summer, and my other "never forget" moment came (actually it was DL) when I watched that same DS play the "Star Spangled Banner" at the Flag Retreat Ceremony in Town Square. Both moments gave Mom a lump in her throat.

I'd have to say my most memorable, never forget moment was on our last trip, two years ago. We were in AK, and had just had our meet and greet with Donald Duck. When we were leaving, a CM approached us and asked us if we'd like to be in the parade that day! Needless to say, we said YES!!!
