What is youngest age for babysitting services on property?

Hi all!

We are DVC members planning a trip for February. It will be the first time with the kids! Believe it or not. DS will be 2 and we will have a new baby that will be around 6 months depending on when baby decides to arrive. I think they offer in room babysitting. What ages is this for? Has anyone ever used it? I'm not so sure we would but we were just curious about the options.

The in-room sitters will watch kids starting as young as about 8 weeks.

I called to WDW to inquire about our upcoming Feb trip with 18mo and they gave me the number for the service that they "endorse" - Kids Night Out 407-827-5444. They said they start at 6mo. I asked if it was "Disney run" and she said no it's a private company that they recommend. I asked about Fairy Godmothers which I read about on all the Disney sites that people seem to rave about and she said she had no listing on their directory, just the KNO service. We will use KNO or Fairy Godmothers. I'm not sure but I think FG's prices are better so call both and compare. I've heard nothing but positive comments on both companies.

I have personally used FG and can comment only on their terrific service. We had nothing but positive experiences with their sitters-used them 2xs. Very professionally run and the sitter immediately made us feel very comfortable. My son was 3 1/2 the first time we used them and could communicate with us easily the next day-told us she was really nice & funny & played games with him all evening, read books & helped him brush his teeth before he went to sleep. The next time we went he asked if his "special fairy" would come again-lol!
