What is with all the negativity lately here?

I check in here often and usually lurk unless I feel compelled to post. The past few days have been somewhat, uh, unpleasant with all the bickering.

Can't we all play nice? Remember Thumper's mom's rule.

"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Come on guys, lighten up on each other.

I was commenting on that very thing to DH yesterday. Then I remembered the same thing happened this time last year, too. I think we all have cabin fever! February sucks and M arch is worse! The holidays are behind us, but most of us still have some of it left over in our middles, to remind us just how stressful life is. We are also (some more than others) still paying for the holiday bonanza, all the while trying to plan for this years cruise or other E-ticket affair. It os just a stressfull time of year and it is being reflected in our posts. I'm cutting you all some slack!

I think it's just the circle of life on the CB. Every once in a while we have a spell of "negativity". Just like in real life

I agree with you. I do more lurking than posting myself, but I noticed things have been tense this week. I enjoy the DIS because most folks here are so kind and supportive of each other. I think it will pass.

It really is no fun to sign on and see everyone griping. Here's Craig's and Robby's mom's rule: If you don't like a certain thread or poster, don't click on it! This goes for EVERYONE. I've seen complaining and whining from all "level" of people on this board, if you know what I mean....

Cabin fever.

And, I think all the very "negative" stories involving children lately. There have been several threads involving crimes against/by children lately. I think it's just taking it's "toll" on people.

I'm sur it, too, will pass, like Alex said.

Bingo! That's exactly what it is. One day a group of posters will be flaming each other over perceived slights, and the next they are the best of friends. Luckily I think the good times here far outweigh the bad
