The week before Thanksgiving to be exact. We usually go in early September, but we will have a 9 month old baby and the weather is soooo hot during the afternoon. What is the weather like in November? Crowds? That's the thing we love about September--low, low crowds. Thanks for any info!

That's one of the best times to go after Sept. The crowds should be low to so-so. The weather should be cooler. Daytime temps in 70s and Nighttime 50s.

Weather and crowds were great on our November trips. Light jacket in the morning that we usually discarded by 10:00. Its after the time change so Everest at night is really cool. Ask for the first car and you'll get a great nighttime view at the top!

Early November during Jersey week when we go typically can still be really hot. We had days in the 90s. Crowds aren't bad at all but definitely more then September.

Late November around Thanksgiving when we went before was cool during the day and freezing at night during the MVMCP that we went to. Crowds were heavier for the Holiday.

I came to WDW Wed-Sat the prior to T-giving. We didn't wait more than a half hour. Great waits. No traffic. It was chilly, the whole country was. I left the gulf coast and it was 28 degrees headed to Central FL! If the Gulf coast is that cold, everyone will be. I wore jeans, a Rapunzel dress with black long sleeves under and brought a hoodie. I never really needed more than that. During the day, we were back at T-shirt weather.

Thanks to that trip, where my friends stayed, liked it so much and saw all the construction back and no traffic, so we moved here 8 weeks ago!!! I'm quite partial to Nov in FL..after all, besides maybe Mexico, where else is going to be that nice in Nov?

:D

Lol well ok obviously. Just saying that if you ARE planning a trip to FL, its going to be better to be IN FL than home, unless your home is Mexico...or Hawaii! ;)

We went that week last year and it was FREEZING a few of the days...I know that was rare but it happened and we were not prepared. Crowds were low but not as low as September. It is probably the best week to go to see the Christmas decorations...

We always go the week before Thanksgiving... Weather if fair, it can be warm enough for shorts and tanks OR like last year it can be so cold that pools are closed and you need to wear a winter jacket lol

We are going November 14-20! I'm so excited. We were there early December 2013 and I'm happy to be going back to see the decorations!

Weather in November can go either way. One trip everyone was buying sweatshirts and jackets at DTD and last trip it was very comfortable

Ok, sounds like the weather is a toss up, but still generally a little cooler than September. Seems like fairly low crowds that week. Good to know. We went during Christmas week in 2012 and I'm excited to see the Christmas decorations again, at a little less crowded time. Thanks everyone!

Yes, last year we were quite cold for a few days and we're Canadian! :)
Same happened in 2010 (if I'm remembering the year correctly). We actually wore mitts and hats once or twice. I find Florida cold is also damp which just makes the cold a little worse. You really do need to be prepared for any type of weather.

We were there for the week leading up to Thanksgiving in 2013. I think the weather was perfect--but we're from Ohio, so 60 degrees generally feels warm to us around that time of year. :)

It was chilly enough in evenings and early mornings to need a jacket or sweatshirt, but it was never freezing. We would wear lightweight pullovers to the parks and then remove them by around 10:30 or 11. The afternoons were beautiful--usually between 60 and 70 degrees. We tried swimming a couple of times, but I'm not totally convinced that the pool at POP was heating properly. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Florida is unpredictable, though! I ran during the WDW marathon weekend in January of 2013, and we were running in 82 degrees!!! It was crazy for that time of year. Bring plenty of clothes you can layer, and plan for any and every weather condition!

We'll be there at the same time again this year, and we're hoping for similar weather... though a couple of higher-temp poolworthy days would be ideal! :) I really think this is the ideal time of year to go, though. Crowds aren't bad at all until maybe the day of or day before Thanksgiving, the weather is beautiful, all the Christmas decorations and celebrations are in full swing, there are very few closures because they are anticipating larger crowds for the holiday season... It's wonderful!
