What Is VMK?

I was wondering if i should make a VMK account. What exactly is it and what can i do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the Dis boards! There are some sticky posts above this that are very useful, such as the Player's Guide and the one entitled Useful Information.

Basically, VMK is a fun, interactive game that unites people who have a love of Disney! But I think the stickies say it best.

hi, vmk is an awesome, fun experience for people of all ages!, i suggest using the items thread once u get in the kingdom.

VMK is an interactive game where you create a character and visit virtual disney parks. You can create your own rooms, collect items, play mini games such as pirates of the caribbean and fireworks. You get credits and buy things in shops, you can trade and visit with friends. There are quests to complete for prizes in the game. It is a good game for all ages of people who love disney.

Welcome, Daddys_Disney_Girl! I see we hail from the same state! Quite a few Marylanders here, as a matter of fact.

VMK is great, and I hope you enjoy. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, through a post or a private message to me. I will be glad to help.

Remember, though, you cannot share private information in the game! The dictionary is very restrictive about what can be said, and how it can be said. And, if you find people in game that you recognize as being from the DIS, do not say, "I know you from the DIS." You'll wind up getting a ban! Disney does not want to encourage us to contact each other outside of the game, for safety's sake.

I also notice that your title implies that you might be a younger member. Safety is first and foremost, so do not do or say anything, here or in game, without your parent's permission.

Other than that, do as everyone's suggested and read the stickies and wiki information, then just give it a try!
