what is up w/ pedestal sinks at POFQ?

I was looking at pics on allearsnet and was SO surprised to see pedestal sinks. Where do you put your supplies - that little sil on the wall looks to be about 6 in wide if that? I really wanted to stay there but the pics are making me think there is not enough room between no real closet, no vanity - did any have a lack of storing problem there w/ 4 people????

We have had no problem at all using that shelf at POR. And I have to tell you that my dh has more 'product' than any 3 women I know!!! We just put our most frequently used stuff on the shelf and the other stuff on the shelf over the clothes rod/closet area.

I purchased one of those plastic shoe organizer, and hung it on the rod by the sink. Bought it at dollar tree, so no problem throwing it away at the end of the trip.

Worked great- hair ties, brushes, combs, deodorant, hair gel, face soap, razors, face wash, sunscreen, all fit in.

The only things left on our sink were toothbrushes, and paste, along with my make up bag. No problem

We have had no problem lining our products up on the shelf at POFQ. I actually like the pedestal sinks I would not reconsider staying there for this reason alone...it's a great resort!

I took a pic of all my stuff scattered up on that shelf! Too bad it is lost and I can't find it anywhere But yeah, I had the same fear, but was pleasantly surprised that all my junk fit

I hated the shelf. We stayed there the first time in 1996 and everything kept falling off. When we went last July I made sure I had a plan. I used a carry on size bag that had everything in it and just put it on the shelf in the closet. At home or away I hate to look at clutter and that shelf did it in for me. I love the counter at CBR, which also has the little shelves underneath.
