What is up the Enchanted Tales?

Okay. So everything I read indicates the Enchanted Tales with Belle should be a FP+ selection at MK. But, I have been tracking wait times since before President's Day and including Easter week and I have not seen over the top waits. Most of the day it would be 30-40 minutes. We are traveling in the summer so honestly 30 minutes is just not that horrible of wait by comparison to some that frequently sit at an hour or more. Does anyone have the low down here? Is it recommended because the line moves slow and the posted time is an underestimate? Where there longer lines in previous years because it was new. We have 2 days at MK and could probably hit it in the morning on one day. Is it really necessary to use a FP for this?

Only if you plan on visiting it in the middle of the day. First thing in the morning or in the last hour are the best times to go without a FP+.

We did it in the morning without a FP, and it really wasn't horrible. We waited about 20 minutes total, some of it outside. But most of our wait was in the cottage, which felt a little crowded. I would maybe do it again if the wait was decent, just because I love Beauty and the Beast, but I wouldn't use a FP for it.

I don't find it to be a good use of a FP+ at all. There are so many times of day that you can do it with a short wait using a FP+ for it just doesn't make sense.

thanks for asking this, OP... I'm not going until next spring, but I am filing this under need-to-know!

For us it was definitely a do it once and that's enough show. It's for a VERY young audience, iop. We do love the special effects and up to the moment audio animatronics but the "storytelling" is strictly for kids, iop. Definitely not worth a FP.

It all depends on what your other priorities are. It's definitely worth a FP to avoid a 40 minute wait. I would prioritize A&E, 7DMT, Space, and Peter Pan before. If you have small children, that knocks out 7DMT and Space, leaving ETWB as a viable 3rd FP.

I consider this attraction a "must do" because it has cool technology and everyone can be involved in the mini show.

I forgot to mention, if you do not get a FP, go late. I would not waste precious rope drop time on ETWB.

Also, keep in mind that if you go at rope drop you'll need to wait until they have enough people for a show. We went really early between Xmas and new year's and were told that it would be a 15-20 minute wait since there was only one other group in line. We left and went back a little later.

All good things to know. We do have a very young (almost 3) Beauty and the Beast fanatic with us so this is a must. We are desperately trying to balance FP+ on things for him and for us. While he can't ride SDMT, we want to. We are going with several people to help keep him while those that want to ride big stuff do that. I am already looking at a FP+ for A&E for him. I just wanted to check because it seemed that tips I had read were not lining up with the waits I had seen. Thanks all!
