What is this dessert?

Yesterday I read a description of a dessert that sounded great- someone said their DS or DD had it. I think it was a cake or pudding in a dish, it came with 2 little jugs of sauce (one caramel, one vanilla maybe??) and they were told to make a hole in the pudding and pour in the sauces.

I know it sounds great but I cannot remember where I read it or where you get it.

Any ideas? Or did I just dream this?

Could it have been a dessert souffle? I've had grand marnier souffles that come out with a pitcher of creme anglaise (vanilla sauce), and you are instructed to poke a hole in the top and pour in the sauce. Since the dessert you describe came with caramel sauce, maybe it was a chocolate souffle?

Sounds like the Bread & Butter Pudding at Raglan Road. It was a bread pudding that came with two little jugs, one caramel and one vanilla cream, and we were told to pour it down the middle so it would get all the way to the bottom. It was fantastic!

That's the one! Thanks so much!!!! We will be at SSR next trip so it should be convenient to pop over to Raglan Road!

Thanks again,
