I noticed my description changed to CONTEMPORARY- U588G - DISNEY DINING PLAN

What is u588g?

I have never seen an alphanumeric code like this on my reservation... So before calling and being on hold for endless times I figured I would ask here

Is u588g the code for "difficult" guest? Hahaha

Probably their code that identifies which package you have. Dining, summer room only, etc. Nothing to call about

I am just curious as it wasn't on there when I booked and it changed yesterday...

Before yesterday it just said "DISNEY'S CONTEMPORARY RESORT - DISNEY DINING PLAN"

Got an email yesterday (after I made a payment) and it said "CONTEMPORARY- U588G - DISNEY DINING PLAN "

Those codes are only understandable to the bean counters at Disney. People on the DIS have been trying to break those codes for years with zero success.

The codes change with everything.

It's just a system code. When the CM types it in it will tell them what you've booked. Every discount has a different set of codes for different package combos.

If you called to modify a CM would plug your code into their system. It'd pop up with the info page for your code - summer offer + dining.' It makes it easier for them to find the code for the summer offer + DXDP that you want to mod to for example.

It's nothing at all that you'd ever use. And difficult guest stuff will never be somewhere you'll see it

I just think it's odd that I have never had a code on any of my reservations (4 alone last year)...it's the exact same type of booking we have always done... Military Rate with dining...
