TSMM is better than Buzz at WDW, but the Buzz version at Disneyland is actually the best! You can hold your gun for a more natural aim, rather than it being on a restricted swivel.

Somewhat off topic, and I don't know if it's still there, but Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Minnesota had a ride-through haunted house ride a few years ago that was also a Buzz-like light gun game. The images inside it were CLEARLY a ripoff of Disney's Haunted Mansion!

I enjoyed Buzz more, as well as my 5 year old nephew. Both are fun, but maybe just because it isn't as popular it seemed better since we could ride it a couple times.

Only Buzz is at MK. TSMM is at Hollywood studios. So no chosing between those two on a MK day.

We enjoy both rides. I do like the 3D of TSMM. Luckily TSMM is at Hollywood Studios so if you really only want to do one Toy Story ride it free up time at MK. If you don't want to go to Hollywood Studios, then go with Buzz Space Ranger Spin.

Thanks guys. My girls aren't huge Toy Story fans. We just won't be able to do everything at MK. I will just have to pick and chose. Since they have never been to MK they don't have any favorites....yet.

You do realize that only Buzz Lightyear Spin is in MK, right? Toy Story Midway Mania is in Hollywood Studios.

With so many rides it really doesn't matter if people are fans of a movie or not. I mean, they *should* cultivate an appreciation for TS but you don't have to have that to enjoy either ride like crazy. But akin with most, I find TSMM I be a better ride (especially since the Buzz at DL is so superior).

Sounds like you are trying to drop Buzz from the MK day? I could do that easily if your MK day is that full and you only have the one day at that park.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. I know I can't get to everything and don't want to make everyone crazy trying. So I figured if one was better then the other (and hoping that the one in HS was)
