I dn't think I knew this existed until I saw the thread below. Where is it, and is it every day? Has anyone here put their kids in it, and how did they like it? Also, how long is it? Hmmmm, my DD4 and DD7 might like that experience. Does it take TS credits from the DDP? We have no more to spare, so it would have to be OOP.

Thanks for the info!

We are going on Wed. next week for our first time. I think it comes to around $42 per person. It is for kids only, adults have to wait outside. (I think they get a pager) It's from 1:30 -2:30. I think it's every day or at least evry week day. It is held at 1900 PF.
I'm not sure if it take the DDP or not, but we are paying OOP for it for DD. They have lunch. From what I read it's sandwiches (I've heard different kinds, but mostly turkey and/or ham) grapes, and nuggets. And they get to decorate a cupcake. From what I read they do the cup ckae first, because thats how the madhatter does thing. Alice and the mad hatter come, and I think they joke around and do silly stuff and play some games. Each child gets a picture with the two characters as well.
It looks fun and I think it wil lbe special for DD. We even bought her an Alice dress to wear. I'll try to get pictures when I drop her off, and when i pick her up, but obviously can't during, though I am sending in our crappy camera with her, hoping she wil ltake some, or I will even ask a CM if they will take a couple of shots. I have heard sometimes they do.
I don't really expect DD to eat there. LOL! She wil lbe too excited to, so we are having breakfast before we go over. (10:50)
I googled it and found a little info, but it's really hard to find any pictures of it.

My dd8 did this when she was 4 and absolutely loved it. We had to go and get Alice's dress for Halloween in the GF shop afterwards. We were amazed by the security. They give you a pager just in case and we went and enjoyed a drink by the pool. It was a wonderful memory for my dd.

FYI.....I tried to sign my daughters up for this yesterday during my 4 hour ordeal with Disney Dining and they couldn't find it anywhere on the new system. They recommended I call back later in the week to try again. Oy Vay!

Anyway, I found out from a friend that that her CM told her that it was no longer under "Childrens Activities" in their system and has been filed somewhere else (but nobody apparently knows where). Her CM agreed to call HER back in about 5 minutes when they found it. Nobody offered that to me. :headache:

What a mess.

I called the dining number had had no problems getting it. I only called about a week or so ago for our trip next week. You could also try calling the BBB number as they do dining as well. Sometimes its faster to get through on that line.
Sounds like you had a CM who didn't know what she was doing.
I did call another day to verify all my Conf. numbers for dining along with the tea party and it was all set.

Is the BBB the Bippidy Boppidy Boutique or something else?

Do you have the number handy?

I'd be interested too in more information from anyone who has had a child go recently. Thank you!:)

Just thought I would share some pictures of DD trying on her Alice dress. She is very excited.

I would love to send my daughter but she's only 3 and I just don't feel comfortable leaving her alone just yet. The link posted says parents can stay around and observe but I thought I heard parents have to leave. Anyone know??

I thought about doing the Princess tea party but at 3 years old I'm just not ready to fork over $250. ;)

Your DD looks great in her new dress!

My DD went to the Wonderland Tea Party in 2007. She had just turned 5 on the trip. I had no qualms about leaving her with the CM's. You are not allowed to stay and observe. She had a wonderful time. Definitely worth the money. Here are some photos of my DD.

You're reading about the Aurora tea party and a parent attends that.
This is the wonderalnd tea party, and you have to be 4 to attend. It is at 1900 PF and it cost about 42. This one is different than the one you were reading. (unless I misread and you read about both)
Patents cannot stay at the Wonderland tea party, and I have heard if you try peeking in the Madhatter gives you a hard time.

We're back and Claire had a fabulous time. It wil lbe a few days before I get to the pictures to edit them, but I wanted to bump it up. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'll also write a mini reprot when I post the pictures.

Here are the pictures I had promised to post.
I am just going to copy straight out of my trip report.

Off to the Wonderland Tea party. It is held at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. So we bused to MK and then boated over to GF. I was told to get there about 1, but when we got there no one was there to check us in. I noticed another lady and little girl walking in the area too. So we just roamed the lobby a bit till someone came. Of course the camera was out and ready!

About 1:15 two CM’s came out and we checked in. The girls that had gathered started to become instant friends. I talked to the CM’s a little bit along with a grandmother of another girl. They seemed really nice and fun. They truly seemed to enjoy their job.
At 1:30 they gathered at the door and it was time to go in.

They got to go in and pick a seat. They also were allowed to bring in their autograph books. Good thing I remembered to pack it!

The tables were set up so cute.

The CM told them to take their napkin and put it on their lap.

And then they told them to put there hand in the air.

Now wave it and tell your parents goodbye! LOL!

So I kept taking pictures on my way out and Claire said “mom, you need to go”

I don’t know if you all know this or not, but parents CAN”T stay for the party. I was so sad I was missing out on what they would be doing and getting pictures of it. But I knew she would have fun.

So I got her settled in and left. I decided to go upstairs to Mickey’s Mercantile and see if they had the tinkerbell figure to exchange. I walked around and spotted them! YAY! But my bag with broken tink was down in my stroller. So I walked back to get it and as I approached I heard some banging.
When I walked near 1900 PF I see it is Alice and the Mad Hatter banging on the doors to the tea party. Then when the CM would open it they would run to another door and bang on that. They kept doing it and then finally they went in. You could hear the kids all laughing.

I was kind of mad at myself for leaving and missing some great ****s. I only got these by just quickly lifting my camera and they were going so fast. LOL!

So after the unexpected sighting of Mad Hatter and Alice I picked up the Tink toy and went back upstairs to return it. It was a smooth exchange with no problems. I browsed a bit and kept myself from buying the cool light up Spinning Mickey toy that Brookelizabeth talked about getting her son. It was super cute, but I didn’t want to get one without Claire there. LOL!
I wandered in and out of some shops and took random pictures.

I then decided I was tired of taking pictures with the bag (holding the tink toy) in my hand, so I went down to the stroller to put it in t here.
AGAIN, I lucked out and got a great surprise!
The Mad Hatter had just opened the door and was marching out. At first I thought it must be time for him to leave, but NO! All the kids followed out too.

And her comes Claire, a little unsure, but giggling! And she has those dang fingers in her mouth. A new habit she has for some reason. UGH!
