What is the Western Caribbean like in Feb

We are considering a Western Caribbean in Feb 2006. It will be late Feb.

What is the weather like??
Are the seas rough??

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

We did the 2nd week cruise in Feb this year. It was cold while in port before we left. It was like low 50's in the morning. The seas was a little rough until we got past Key West. Then it got warm 80's until we got back to the Keys again and around mid 70's or so at Castaway. The water at Castaway was a little cool for our liking but it was nice laying in the sun. The seas was a again were a little rough. However I have to say that Fl in Fl can be anything from low 70's to mid 80's and just depends on the year.
