What is the weather like in mid-January?

Shellie, it's kinda difficult to say... It could be 80 degrees and full sunshine. Or, it could be 50 degrees and drizzling. Or both - 80 one day, and 50 the next. I think the average temp for January is probably about 65 during the day. Because it's so humid, if it dips into the 40s or 50s at night, it feels pretty cold.

Best answer to your question - bring all of the above (shorts, jeans, sweatshirts and jackets).

We go every January.......just be ready to dress in layers. You will need shorts, long pants, tanks and sweatshirts and don;t forget your swimsuits.

It's all over the map in January. I've been there when it's been 80 and I've been there when it's been 20 and they have heaters on the plants at night to keep them from dying of freezing.

Genral the daytime temp that time of year is 60-70, evening temp 35-55. I bring layers, including a sweatshirt, ear muffs and gloves. A couple of pairs of shorts a couple of pairs of pants, some short sleeved shirts, some long sleeved shirts. Bathing suits for the hot tub.

Is this why this is the slowest time of the year? I don't want to be freezing while I'm walking around the park. The idea of gloves and hats in Disney doesn't "work" for me!

Be prepared for anything between 40 and 80, so bring layers. And don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses

...all the above is good info, but don't be surprised by anything between 30 and 80 degrees (F)--even in the same day. In any case, have fun!
