This is when we only can go to Disney ourselves. So with that said, you realize that's going to be hot, hotter, and scorching hot with a lot of humidity thrown in for good measure. Shorts, short sleeve shirts, light colored, breathable fabrics like cotton. A hat and sunglassses. We personally bring 2 changes of clothing per day. When we come back from the parks, we shower/bath and put on a change of clothes. Makes you feel better, and ready to go again! Several pairs of broken in shoes with socks.

First off WELCOME.

Sun screen, mister fans, rain poncho, extra batteries for mister fans.

We bring a light jacket and one pair of jeans but have never had to use them in July. Temps are usually in the high 70's at night (the last 3 July's).

We went last July and didn't bring one pair of pants, sweatshirt, or jacket. Didn't need it. Really hot!! But, it did get cool when going from the heat and humidity of the parks into a restaurant, so if we were wearing tank tops, I did bring along a t-shirt or short sleeve button down shirt to throw on. Hats/visors and sunglasses are an absolute must. Also, rain ponchos for those brief afternoon mid-summer showers (2/$1.00 at our local dollar store). Just take your time, don't try to hurry, you'll just get overheated and exhausted sooner in the heat. Make sure you have lots of water, too.

Have a blast!

Leave the jackets and sweats home, you'll not need them.
I agree with 2 outfits a day, because you'll not want to wear those sweaty clothes after a shower or dip in the pool.:smooth:

For July stick with tank tops and shorts that are made of material that dries easily (denim is a bad idea - it takes forever to dry). Some t-shirts and maybe one pair of pants for restaurants, as the A/C can be pretty cold sometimes. It gets so hot in July, that you probably won't need a jacket, but you never know, so it would be good to pack one just in case.

We always go in July and I agree with everyone else, leave the jeans, long pants, sweats, long sleeve shirts and jackets at home. Even in the wee hours of the morning, it is still warm enough to be comfortable in shorts and t-shirt.

I have been in July the last couple of years and can tell you that I bring a light jacket for the plane only, since it can get pretty cold on those if you wear just a tanktop. You really do not have to bother with long pants since it will be HOT. Make sure you have shoes that dry easily. You should have at least 2 pairs with you since you can very easily get caught in the rain and get soaked. Sneakers do not dry quickly if it is extremely humid.

I have to second the denim = bad sentiment. If that gets wet in the least, it is very uncomfortable and can lead to some bad chafing! Plus, you end up wet for the entire day. I would not even bother bringing jean shorts!

I think the only jacket you'll need is a rain jacket or poncho. I have a really lightweight rain jacket that's a lifesaver. I always have it with me and I just shove it in my fanny pack or tie it around my waist. It can also serve as a windbreaker if it gets a little cool (which it won't in July!). Also, I'd advise bringing waterproof sandals instead of sneakers. It's awful when sneakers get wet, and they take up so much room in the suitcase. I swear by Nike Straprunners!
