What is the weather usually like there at the end of June? I took a look at the long term forecast and it looks like it is going to cool down and there is a chance of rain right before we get there. I'm not sure how much stock I can put into the long term forecast? Last year we went to Anaheim at the beginning of June and it was cold, we had to wear jackets and pants most of the time we were there and it rained, it wasn't very nice at all. I was hoping this year, since we are coming towards the end of June it would be nicer and we could avoid the June Gloom.

Every year is different so I can't say for sure what's going to happen but it's been annoyingly warm over here for the past couple of weeks. I never need a jacket or a sweatshirt on during the days and sometimes I'm even wearing shorts and it's fine. For nighttime, i'd recommend a jacket and pants though.

Warm to hot during the day and cool (but usually not cold although it occasionally can be) at night. In other words, perfect :) I wouldn't worry about forecasts for rain, especially this far out. It would be highly unusual to get any real rain (or basically any rain) in late June. We'd get a huge earthquake before that happens :lmao:

Any forecast that is reporting rain towards the end of June is a bogus forecast. I would throw that website in the trash. In the winter, it's hard enough to predict rain more than 300 hours out and to call for rain this time of year that far out is simply bogus. I just looked at the MJO Indes and there's no hint of rain in our area. I'm not saying it can't happen, but for somebody to predict rain with the current models is simply ignorant.

We've done May, June, July, Oct, and Dec in California. Enough can't be said to make sure you pack some jeans and a hoodie. We love that its a tad chilly in the morning, warms up in the afternoon, and then we go back and get into jeans and hoodies in the night.

One thing to think about, isn't 'June gloom' still an issue in late June?

Oh good, thank you. I feel so much better now. :rotfl2:

The weather is typically really nice in Cali in June. Expect to bring a bathing suit with you if you are going where there is a pool. If there is June gloom, dont even worry about it. That will burn off by noon and some days you dont deal with it at all. I find at this year I wear shorts and a tank top during the day and need that swim to cool off, and in the evening I wear yoga pants and a light jacket and I feel golden. There are some evenings where I put my jacket around my waist. For temperatures you will be looking at about highs of 81F/ 27C and lows of 61F/16C.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:Hey you don't need umbrellas or get wet during earthquakes :thumbsup2 Kidding aside, I do think most of my fellow Californians would be less shocked by an earthquake in June than rain. I've been to Colorado a number of times and you'll be just fine with the weather in late June. And hey, if the mercury does drop unexpectedly, perfect excuse to buy some Disney apparel!
