What is the weather at Disney right now?

We were almost going to go at this time, but now will hopefully be going next year at this time of year. (School convention every year at this time). I was just wondering about the weather. And is it warm enough to swim? Also what time is it getting dark there now?

Okay, this is the thing with Florida at this time of year. Yes, it can be warm enough to swim, and usually is. The last two days it was cool, but they said on the news that we were close to breaking a record for a cold temperature. It is currently 64 degrees, tomorrow the high is supposed to be 75 high, 61 low. Averages for October is low 61 - 65, average high is 80 - 81, that is for the last 2 weeks of October based on historical records. Today was shorts and tee shirt weather in the parks. There have been kids in the pools, but not me. Sunset, well, Saturday is the daylight savings change, but before that - as in now, dark is about 7. by October 31st, (after DST) sunset will be 5:41. hope that helps.

If you don't like the weather, wait a few hours and it'll change.

We went last Wed through Tuesday (got back 2 days ago). Weather until Wilma was HOT and so humid. I wanted to dive into the pool fully clothed - any body of water, really. The tank at the AK safari looked appealing at that point. We stood in the shade and started to sweat. However, when Wilma flew through the humid went with her and it was gorgeous, cool, and no humidity. Even then kids were swimming but it was cool.

All the pools are heated, so it's just the walk to and from that get you if the weather is that cool. We went in dec and still went swimming most days but just like Oct, we were in shorts one day and sweats the next.

I have a friend who got back on Sunday and she said it was unbelievably humid, but that has changed since Wilma arrived. I believe I saw temps in the high 70's yesterday (which is fine by me!).
