What is the Trans Atlantic Airways that I keep hearing about?

Living in Pittsburgh, all that has been on the new lately has been this nasty business with US Airways.

But they keep mentioning another airline that is starting up in the fall, I think it is call Trans Atlantic or Mid-Atlantic, or something like that.

Am I just hearing things or has anyone else heard something about this?

You are probably hearing about MidAtlanticAir.It is a new Airline proposed by USAir that will operate a fleet of regional jets (50-70pax) which will replace some if not alot of the mainline larger aircraft flying as part of USAirs'restructuring plan.US Airways pilots and flight attendants who are furloughed will be moved to the front of the line for jobs with Mid Atlantic Airlines, a new US Airways regional jet service that will begin operating in October.
A lot of politics involved and not the right place to get into that.
