getting to a WDW after leaving the ship??

We will be on the Magic, 7 night western this Saturday!!

My in-laws will be spending a few days with us at WDW after the cruise. We will be staying at WL and we asked them to just come there and meet us. What is a safe time to suggest we meet??

We have FL TOURS picking us up at the port, stopping for a 30 minute grocery stop, then heading to WL. My guess would be 11am. Should I make it later??

You can usually be off the ship 8 or 8:30 depending on when the ship clears customs. An hour drive back, with no traffic, plus your grocery stop. Probably going on 11 by then. Even if you make it a little later..you can get all checked in and settled before they meet you, otherwise, they can always hang out in the lobby or walk around the grounds until you arrive.

I'd like to suggest you make PS's (reservations) for lunch at the Whispering Canyon at WL for 12:00 and meet your folks there. You will have an early breakfast on the ship before disembarking and I'm sure your brood will be hungry. The WL is such a beautiful resort. The only small problem I could see is that more than likely your resort room will not be ready when you check in. They will hold your luggage and even your daybags, and you could enjoy a great lunch. Just a suggestion!!
