your tag is a general tag that changes with your post count - I am not sure what all the levels are but I know there is earning my ears, mousketeer and DIS Cast member - you will also notice that it is black -

now look at my tags -they are in color and are related to something I posted at some point on the boards - the Tag Fairies can change your tag any time the want and add color to it - they are the only ones with this power - I have to tell you the first time you are tagged is amazing!!! It is almost as great as when you go to WDW!!

there is no set time length before you get tagged - I was tagged before post 100 - some people have 1000's of posts and no tags - you just have to catch the TF's eyes! Sunday night and Monday morning they were on a roll and I can't even tell you how many people got new tags!!!

you can not beg for a tag -that makes them mad - you can try being witty but odds are you will get tagged with one of the most embarrassing posts you make!!

don't worry i know that mine is an auto thing. I just couldn't stand the whole earning my ears thing don't know why...Still makes me smile to be a mouseketeer. LOL....I remember seeing your "tsk tsk..." tag in one of your posts. And Don't worry I am not a begger for a tag. I just didn't know what it was. Tags are for very special people.

It made me smile too when I got my ears...hence I added "proud to have earned my ears". I think the tag fairy is just a little bit of pixie dust left over from the magic of Disney. I would never be so bold as to ask for a tag. It seems to me it is more special because of the surprise itself and that makes it so exciting. Also one reason it works so well as we are all the types of people that are happy to suspend disbelief and that makes Disney and the DIS magical for us as grown ups!

It is funny that you posted this now. Yesterday I was soooo excited that I had been tagged Mouseketeer, until I noticed how many other Mouseketeers there are out there. HA!

I got my tag last year on the Cruise boards when for some reason the word 'cruise' was blacked out. Then all of a sudden it was right again. Whenver someone would write the word "cruise" it would show up as "*****".
