mine is thinking b12 was optional

So for two years of going dr to dr my yearly visit comes up my dr does a cbc she calls in a panic that my b12 is very low

By shoot 3 felt like a human

Please tell me I am not the only one to do something this stupid

The only reason I’m aware of B12 is my mom who has been severely deficient (30 days of shots every day multiple times to replenish and now a prescription)! Then I end up being D3 deficient, but at least I was good on B 🤣

I’ve made a lot of dumb assumptions and try to be more conscious of that now. Most recently I assumed Only Murders in the Building would be dumb and annoying but I actually love it!

So your doctor told you your B12 was low, did she say you should take a supplement and you ignored her?

No, I went to her for Vertigo two years ago I was referred to a Pt and ENT neither could find the problem went for my Annual an order for a complete blood count blood work came back with a very very low B 12 as soon as I could arrange it I started getting the shots between charger at three I start to feel more like a human in other words my vertigo disappeared and got my life back

I still feel awful about this one. My dad and I were traveling together and staying in a hostel. We met two people who were traveling together--a middle-aged woman with a very short haircut and a penchant for more traditionally masculine clothing styles and a younger woman with heavy makeup and a penchant for flowy dresses. We jumped to the conclusion that the two women were a couple. Turns out that it was a mom and her daughter's best friend. The daughter was supposed to make the trip, but couldn't get the time off work, so she encouraged her mom to take her best friend instead. People have made that assumption about Dad and me before, so I can't believe we made the same mistake.

Got it. Just had blood work done today and not only is my B12 low but so is my ferritin (iron stores) as well my TSH (thyroid) being high. All the symptoms I have been having make sense now. Hopefully getting those in check will make me feel human again as well. No vertigo for me but noticeable muscle weakness & fatigue.

B12/K2 combo sublingually drops for best absorption.

And to answer the question at hand. The stupid assumption is believing/trust what men say when you are starting to date. Like the big lie "I want a relationship."

My sister and I own a house together and frequently travel together. I'm sure people assume we're a couple all the time. Though we do look somewhat alike. That might get us on a "siblings or dating" challenge sometime. 😄

My sister and I cruised together once and we were constantly mistaken for being either a couple or mother and daughter. I found both amusing, for different reasons.

It's like the running gag on Supernatural when the brothers would check into a hotel. "King or two queens?"
:rotfl:The beds were configured as a king when we arrived, even though I’d put twins in the pre-cruise preferences. When we asked to have the beds separated the steward seemed quizzical and said he could switch it back later if we changed our minds. Must have thought we’d had a spat. :rotfl:

That exact thing has happened to Dad and me every time we cruise together. Too funny!

This happened to me with my mom when I was a teenager. On one trip we had gone to pick up a rental car while my stepfatehr was getting the bags. The person at the counter asked who would be the driver, and my mom said her husband. The person looked at me and assumed that was me. We were laughing about that for a while, but when we got to see some family, it was my own Aunt who came up to me and said "You must be Louis." Granted I was wearing a suit and sunglasses at this point (it was an outdoor graduation ceremony), but still, my Aunt did know me from since I was little! It had been a few years since I had seen her, but not that long - I guess it was the growth spurt years though. It's all just funny to us though!
