What is the smallest amount of points that can be purchased?

I keep hearing 25 points. Is that the smallest amount of points you can buy from DVC? I have a 160 point contract. What if I wanted just 15 points to make it 175? Can that be done? Every time I do the points math on a vacation I want to book, I always seem to be 10-15 points short.

DebbieB is correct. Why not get 25 more points - then you'll have 10-15 extra points when you're done planning your trip.

Eventually, that will mean larger accommodations, an extra night for you or you'll just plan with the 175 points and you'll STILL be a few short, LOL.

I agree. If you add on the 25, they will be there every year. The minimum, as Debbi B said is 25. It is 25 for a cash purchase and 50 for a financed one. DVC is offering $8 off for an add on of 50 pts or more at AKV and I think a similar deal at SSR right now.

Also, the add on process is very simple and when you add on through DVC, there are no closing costs.
