You guys rock. I went the last weekend of ocotber 2004, and again end of jan. 2005. I thought I was doing good. going to have to better to keep up with my fellow Disers.
We went July 31-August 7,2004. Went back Sept.18th for one night, back again Dec. 10-13, and are headed back again May 18-22 with a possible trip in June as well for Project x. We live about 4.5 hrs away....
Our shortest time between trips? We returned from a trip with the kids on a Thursday in July (3 or 4 years ago), took the kids to camp on that Sunday afternoon and flew back to Disney for an adults only week.
So the shortest time between trips for us is 3 days with a 2000 mile round trip included!
we were (just) there Dec 16-22, and I am ready to return, as is my ds5. I keep watchin' for deals, and I try to keep thinking of any excuse to return ASAP!!!
we spent the weekend before our 3rd anniversary and then went back the weekend after our 3rd anniversary... so we left WDW on a Sunday... worked Monday through Thursday and then went back on Friday...
as for how far we are away from WDW... it is about 150 miles from our front door to the WDW exits off I-4...
We went one year in June for 7 nights. Then we went 12/4 through 12/9 for MVMCP and returned on 12/26 for Christmas break. Then we went again a couple of months later the week before Easter in late March early April for 5 nights and returned the following June for 10 nights.
We live just north of Atlanta and it is about a 490 mile drive.
3 wks. Went Labor Day 2001 and then went back with friends on 9/21 for a week. We don't live close by, but with a nonstop Southwest flight we can be at the Mouse in 3 hrs.
I was there Dec. 18-23, 2003 and returned Jan. 10-12, 2004. The first time was with DH for our 30th anniversary and the second time was when I drove with DD when she started her WDW college program. We had already planned the first trip when she was accepted and decided to stay with our plans.
Returned home from WDW on July 2, 2004 - headed back on July 12, 2004 to meet some friends who were going for the first time. Here's the good part - I drove down and back both times with a 12 and 14 year old. (I don't fly.) We live north of Philadelphia.
