We went Nov 13-21 last year and walked on everything. Ther ewas a lady living at our hotel while she waited for her hurricane damaged home to be repaired and she said the couple of weeks before Thanksgiving were a great time to go weather and crowd wise. And she was right. She also said October is good to, that's when we plan to go this time 'cause DH has a scheduled week off.
We like to go in November too, went before on November 11th,and that was a good time of year. This year,we'll be there from November 6-18th,and don't find too many long lineups!
Have fun planning your trip!
Last year we went Nov 15-22.
The parks were great until the Friday before Thanksgiving. We were walking on rides at MK.
We were planning on going the 1st week in Dec this year since Nov no longer is Value season (except after Thanksgiving)
We are concerned that many others will also be thinking this so we may just go the same week again this year.
Also The Christmas decorations were also mostly up at that time.
I'd say the first week in November will be you quietest. The second week will be "Jersey Week" as well as Veterans Day, which will attract crowds. Also, Super Soap weekend is the second weekend and that attracts a lot of crowds to Disney Studios.
AGREED! I too am wonder how this will impact the crowd level. ALSO keep in mind that food and wine has been extended this year until Nov. 14th (?). Yes Jersey week is a little later starting Nov. 10 and running the week after to the 18th. After that it will be thanksgiving week. We are doing our fall trip a little later this year. Starting on Oct. 26th and going to Nov. 6. I'm hoping this earlier part of Nov. will be the quietest, esp. with Jersey week running later. Yes, Super Soap weekend should be either the weekend of the 12th or 19th. Along with Festival of the masters at DTD. All of this makes for a busy November. Hopefully my predictions will be the quietest time: Either Nov. 1-4 and Nov. 28-30. Other than that, I see a wild and crazy time for WDW in November. I did not mention the conferences that always go on during October and November because we are not privy to that information, along with school sporting activities at the WWOS. BTW: There is no quiet time in WDW anymore. I came to that conclusion the weekend of December 10-13, 2004, when resorts were at capacity and the parks closed because they reach capacity. (I would've never thought early December could be so crazy.)
