I understand for the College Program u need to have a semester of college under your belt.
So if u do get accepted into the CP, do they provide work, housing(at a cost), and schooling? do they pay for your schooling or do they only give out loans for your school while in the CP?

After completing the Career Start Program, does that count as "a semester of college?" After the Career Start Program, are u eligible to apply for the College Program, or not?

If not, what is the point of the Career Start Program besides the the college credits they "offer?"

as u can see, I have no idea about any of this, so it's pretty much 123 ABC learning here.

also, is it mandatory to livein their housing while in either of the programs or can I live in my own house?

thanks! I appreaciate all help!:littleangel:

DCP does give you a job and access to housing (that is direct deducted from your paycheck). However, there is no paying for schooling. If you want to take classes (assuming your university accepts their classes, mine did not) then you have to see how your university handles them. Your other option is to take online classes through your university (what I did) or you can just plain take a semester off.

oh I see now!
so basically you just go through the College Program to work at Disney, live at Disney, possibly earn school credits through them or possibly not, and take college classes online on your time off?

for some reason I thought it was something way more amazing like they help u out with the cost of school but I guess not. . .thank u, u helped me alot! :)

For me (I'm a duel major in Hospitality Management and Accounting) I have a requirement for the hospitality part of my degree of hours in the field, so while I did not get credit for the CP, I did complete that requirement. I also have Disney on my resume.

There is no help with the cost of school, sorry!
