What is the minimum in order to have recption in MK?

someone told me once, I don't remember who, "if you have to ask the minimum, then you probably can't afford it" LOL!
otherwise, I have heard that it completely depends upon where you want to get married, some places are 20K, some 40K and some 80K. I don't remember where I got this information, but I am sure it was probably from the unofficial guide.

i thought the minimum for a MK wedding itself was 40K. would that include the reception or is that something else? going off subject for a minute, inlovewithdisney, i couldn't help but notice your wedding date. the date, june 13 was the day that rob proposed to me. isn't that something. june 13 is a lucky day!!!

cool! I was afraid the 13th would be unlucky! I originally wanted the 14th, but he wanted to do it on monday.

When I was looking into getting married at WDW (I got married in 1999), it was $40,000 just to have the cermony in the park...that included nothing, but the site itself...ambiance, I guess .

We didn't end up getting married in FL, we live in MA..but we are going to do a vow renewal in the next few years.\

Well I thought it was $52K regardless of whether you had ceremony and reception or reception only with ceremony say at the WP.

Tinkerbela & inloveindisney - we got married on May 13, 13 is my lucky number I passed my driving test on Friday 13th June and we live at number 13. 13 is deffo lucky

Yes it is louisa bearing in mind that you also have to pay for wedding attire, invitations etc etc. Basically everything else that Disney do not provide oh and the honeymoon and the accommodation whilst at Disney for the wedding.

But that said what a glorious feeling - certainly a dream of mine and I've just got wed.

i think i will have to save some money after my wedding, so i can have a Mk vow renewal ten years later....
