what is the maximum pointas that a DVC 'er can have ?

Our DVC rep told us that there are members that stay nearly all year. But by the regulations in FL. your not allowed to. 11 months max, then you have to leave for a month.

I would spend that month at the one of the All Stars.

No, actually I would leave for the premium weeks. No need to spend all those extra points just because it is Christmas and Easter.

Believe me, I have done the number crunching for the fantasy of living in WDW on points.

I've been just dandy!!!

We're trying to work something out for the last week of August. DD starts high school in the fall so I'm afraid we're finally at the point where we need to travel only during summer and school holidays. Sure will miss those off-season crowds.

i know this sound stupid I know I should save my money in the bank where it can get some interest.. well I do that.. they take a lil amount every pay day with the credit union... and i take my $20 allowance bi weekly.... once I break my allowance the change ends up in a new shoe box I have not opened the box it has been 4 months now !!!

I don't think it was stupid -- I think it was great! Just the fact that you were able to keep stashing that money away for so long without breaking into it is very admirable.

Shoot, the interest rates have been so low over the last few years that you probably would have wasted more money in gas driving back and forth to the bank than what you would have earned!

What I was really surprised at was that they were even going to include cash to cover II exchange fees. They certainly thought of everything they could to make this a real dream come true...now if they could just send me that certified letter stating I won!
