Hi I am not new, I was a member 2 years ago, but I couldn't remember my site name so I have a new one now. But I made reservations with CM#1 a few days ago. I had Pop for 4 days and another reservation continuing at AKL for 3 days.
Well I got one email confirmation but not the other, and I tried to get it online and it didn't work.
So I called tonight and talked to CM#2. CM#1 put the wrong email in for the 2nd email (honest mistake) and then it was blocked, but then CM#2 was trying to blame ME for the mistake, like I told him wrong! Well that email address wasn't mine or anyone's I know of? Plus he had an old phone number listed (even though I gave him the new one).
Then the icing on the cake, he charged me for trip insurance, without asking me for both reservations totaling $238.00!!!! I had them take it off, but I feel I should have been asked about this. I am asked about everything else. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes, so it wasn't like he was rushed.

I called the night before to make reservations, and had this guy that kept putting me on hold several times because he didn't know how to do 2 reservations occuring after each other. I eventully hung up because I was on hold for the 3rd time for over 5 minutes.

This is my 4th trip to Disney, 3rd onsite, and every reservation was messed up. :sad2: It kinda take the magic out of my step when I have have them correct their mistakes on every trip. So frusterating.

This is why I always book online when I can. I was transferring funds from one reservation to another yesterday, so I had to call CRO. I specifically said I did not want insurance.

Sure enough, I checked later and they had added the insurance. So, I e-mailed them and asked them to please remove the insurance. Guess what? Instead of removing it, they added it AGAIN - double insurance!

So, I had to call in and sit on hold for 15 minutes while they fixed it.

If you book online you get just what you want - no hassles.

Sorry this happened to you.

Post # 1 was edited to remove CM's names. This is resort board policy.

Thanks,

I guess you were a little late with the edit. I get these by RSS feed and the feed I got had all the names even tho the "feed" time was listed at 9:52 PM.

I booked with a rep because I kept getting the insurance added online even though I tried to remove it... So be careful either way :thumbsup2
:goodvibes

We always go with a travel agent as no matter what we look up online, they beat the price for us.

More so with the airline, but seems that online, you get connecting and or bad flight times.

With the Travel Agent, we get exactly what we want. Plus the rate is better and costs us nothing to go thru them.

Thanks everyone!

I am in a better mood now, I think things are worked out. They still didn't email me both confirmations again, but online things look okay. Time to move on! :hippie:

We received the travel insurance brochure/information with our paperwork. Is it normal to get this even though we didn't book insurance? We rebooked with a code and I am unsure what the deal is with our new reservations.
We leave in a week so I guess it would be too late to take off the insurance if it was added on.
