What is the longest solo trip you could stand?

Call me crazy, but I did three weeks solo. And my upcoming solo trip (16 days!!!) is two weeks!
Nice! Did you enjoy being there that third week? Did you take things at a leisurely pace? Did you go off site a lot? Enjoy your upcoming trip!

By the third week, I was starting to feel a little bit lonely, but Aunt Flo was also due so I think it was a combo of hormones and lack of company in the hotel room (sorry if TMI! :scared1: )

I did, yeah! I pushed myself a bit too much in the first week, and also ended up catching a really bad cold so I spent three days taking it easy. I think my favourite things to do were wandering around the World Showcase and looking at all the details, enjoying different food across WDW that I'd not had a chance to try before, fun character interactions and riding my favourite rides over and over! I did MNSSHP solo on that trip, and that was very fun. I also spent a day at Downtown Disney which I'd never done before, my family only really went there for the stores and dinner.

Thanks! I'm super excited :mickeyjum

Not TMI. Many of us can relate. It sounds as if your upcoming trip will be the perfect length to avoid the third-week blues, and that slowing down last time after that first week was a rewarding decision. I hope to take things slowly when I eventually go, too, and to go over to Uni for awhile, mainly for the Harry Potter stuff. Again, hope you have a great trip. Thanks for your reply.

I just wrapped up my first solo trip a few days ago. It was for 10 days and 9 nights. I had a great time. I spent two days at Universal and I also did two tours (Horse back riding and Epcot Seas Aqua Tour). All that with Disney sprinkled in and some resort hopping and all was good. The main thing I did that helped was have fun. I moved my schedule around here and there and all worked out well. I really wasn't bored at anytime. I had plenty of downtime and most of the time around 4 or so I would head back to relax at the resort for an hour or two. I usually had adrs that were set for 630, 7, 730, 8 or 9. It worked out well. I hope to do it again next year as well. Maybe this time I would add in a day for seaworld too.

I think I could do a week alone. I've never been alone and not sure I will ever go alone but I would love to. I don't get much alone time in my life so I would enjoy eating, sleeping and playing all alone.

I went last year over Thanksgiving for 11 days and I had a great time. I normally wouldn't have gone that long, but my trip to Italy was cancelled at the last minute so I decided to go to WDW instead. I'm going for 9 days in December this year and I know it will be awesome. I would love to do 11 days again, but work schedule doesn't allow for it. Since I'm single and used to being alone, I prefer traveling alone. :) One thing that was really nice about going for so many days was that I had the time to go to parts of the park I usually didn't take time to visit due to time constraints. I could take my time and just enjoy the ambiance.

I bet I could do 10 days solo before I start wanting to go home. But I'd do 2 beach days and a day at Universal/IOA as part of that.

Oh and I'd want to go on one of the swamp tour boat rides. Ever since I saw a flyer for one of those I've been wanting to do that.

I did 10 days in September with 2 1/2 days at the start at Universal with 2 MNSSHPs and another day towards the end back at Universal. I'm going again this September and have given myself 2 weeks as I felt so rushed. Hopefully this time I'll get a day to chill out and just wander but I doubt it! So many things that I missed last time!

I try to go during Flower and Garden or Food and Wine so there is extra added fun. I went during the Food and Wine a couple of years ago and did some of the $15.00 demos and that was really fun, took care of lunch, but took up at least 2 hours by the time I waited on line to enter the area, watch the demo and then wander around the festival building. The Magic Kingdom was all decorated for Halloween too so that was an extra bonus. I did 7 days that last time I went, and that was fine, but the next time I go I may stay a bit longer as I may try to venture over to Universal for a day and also there will much more to check out at the Animal Kingdom.

I've done solo trips in March or early April for about 7 or 8 years now. I think the shortest was 3 nights and the longest will be the one coming up this March at 6 nights. The three nighter felt too short, and the five nighter was about right. This one goes to six because I was able to get a ridiculous airfare. I usually stay off site pretty cheap and rent a car. Besides the parks, I'll go to at least a couple baseball games at WWoS. Never have I felt bored, but usually by the end I'm glad to get home.
