Animal kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are the two least expensive deluxe resorts.

Agree with PP that AKL and WL are the cheapest deluxes. Yes, the military discount is offered on those resorts (40%). Yes, you can add the DDP at regular price onto a military "package". No need to purchase tickets in this type of package.

Also, the current military discount is through 9/28, and it is unknown whether it will be renewed yet.

You can add a paid dining plan to a ticketless package using military room rates. The assumption is you will be using military tickets.

As an aside, since you're going in September when there is a free dining offer available, you cannot add FD to a military rate room.

AKL and WL are the cheapest, last I checked AKL Was like $6 cheaper.
