James Taylor & Carole King were amazing! He's still got his voice and she sounded pretty good (she used the help of a back-up singer).

We saw Huey Lewis & the News last week at a local winery and we'll see Chris Isaak there next week.

Kiss at Jones Beach----just got home about 15 minutes ago!!! All my 10 year old could say was "amazing"

Ted Nugent - not much of a fan but DH really wanted to go. "Uncle Ted" had a potty mouth, some less than polite gestures and I swear he just sang the same song over and over. It all sounded like noise, awful noise, to me.

Prior to that was Keith Urban and the Dixie Chicks who opened for the Eagles. I don't like the Dixie Chicks at all. I don't follow country music but Keith Urban was very very entertaining! Not mention nice to look at.

Now the Eagles ... Love them!!

Indianapolis State Fair 8-9-10 saw The Envy and KISS, it was fantastic!

American Idol Tour last Thursday. I won the tickets - fabulous seats at an OK concert.

Have Green Day tickets for 8/30. - Outdoor pavillion in Phoenix, AZ in late August...

Bon Jovi last month at Gillette Stadium, Kid Rock opened.

It was a great show - but they always rock!!

Do the shows at Dollywood count? We pretty much stay local and have seen many local acts, but not many national ones.

DS on the other hand has seen everyone this year because he works at Verizon. He has been surprised at who he has liked and not liked. This weekend alone he has seen Phish, Creed and will see John Mayer tonight. He HATES Nickelback, but really enjoyed their show. He was also surprised by Lilith Fair.

Paul McCartney 7 days ago. He was so great, I'm never going to another concert again. Other concerts I've been to - including Barbra Streisand, Billy Joel, Sting - couldn't hold a candle to him.

Indianapolis State Fair 8-9-10 saw The Envy and KISS, it was fantastic!

The Envy played last night with Kiss along with The Academy Is and some other band-- the crowd tolerated the first band--something like Black CLoud or something like that-- by the time The Envy came on they were being booed and when the Academy Is came on people were screaming "you suck get off the stage" .... Everyone was just chanting "Kiss Kiss Kiss"...no interest in these other bands!
