What is The Hub?

I can't seem to picture it in my mind as I probably always raced through it.

Is it on Main Street? Can you see it from all the lands or just use it to get to each land? Will the construction ruin Main Street also?

Anyone have a picture of it before construction started?

So when you enter the park, you walk down Main Street first, then the hub, then the castle?
So Main Street shouldn't look too bad with construction of the hub I'm assuming.

Correct. Main Street is the walkway coming into the Hub at the bottom of the picture. You will not see the construction until you get closer to entering it.
