What is the "Good Morning Gathering" all about?

I'm not sure about sharing. When I set mine up, they gave us a "gathering number" which the cm said links all of us together as a group, regardless of which resort we are staying at. Does anyone know if they will have special tickets or some kind of way to identify you as a member of the group? I am thinking they must have something like that to keep groups together and others from coming in to a group gathering...I was told by the cm who booked mine that the Storybook thing in Epcot is in the Odessey building, and that the building has been set aside just for these "magical gatherings". Anyone else have info on that? I'm just wondering how crowded it would be, since you won't have it for just your group, but with several families or groups. Also, does anyone know if it's a buffet, or what? It says "food from around the world". I would think they'd have a pretty hard time carting individual orders from all the places around world showcase....sorry for all the questions, but this is new to all of us! (and I'm already signed up, lol)

You should call back and ask about the Epcot thing. Odyssey is a HUGE building. But the fine print does say something like quantities limited so I imagine there are seating limits on all of these on any given day.

Best bet is that it's a buffet maybe with one dish or table from each of the countries in World Showcase.

Call back and ask about the Menu! You know we all would love that info too!

I am so jealous you all can take advantage of these events before I can even make my ressies! I can't wait for more details!

The CM I spoke to told me that this building used to be a fast food place when EPCOT first opened. She said now it's where they have special CM meetings and that it is completely closed to the general public. (all the more appealing to me!) I didn't ask about capacity though.

The CM also told me that dinner was served family style but I would love to hear the menu if someone knows it.

Yesterday when I talked to the Grand Gathering CM, she didn't have any menu specifics. I also asked if the events included any one else. She said that only your party would be at the event? I am very curious about that. We are definately doing the magical fireworks cruise ( as soon as I can book it) Please be sure to post as soon as ya'll get back from your trips! I really want to do the International Diner, but I am having a hard time convincing the others in my group ( the $ is a big deal). I think the Morning Gathering sounds like a pretty good deal. If you compare it to other character breakfast it is just a few dollars more and you get all the extras and individual attention from the head mouse!
