What is the earliest time I would be allowed to check-in at the BWV even if the room is not yet ready?

We will be staying offsite the night before and wanted to head over first thing in the morning.

You can basically check in as early as you like. We have checked in to Disney resorts (DVC is no different) as early as 6:30 am. Sometimes the room has even been ready :).

I usually check in very early (5:30-6:00) as I stay off-site the first night as well. It has always worked out well for us.

:jester:

check in time starts at 7:00am - I have been told that it is too early to check in when I tried at 6:00am - (but they let me anyway and a room was ready) - but he fussed so much that I haven't tried that early since. Maybe I should this trip!

This sounds like it will really work out well. When are you actually given room keys?

thanks

You are given your room key card when youcheck in; it is not activated until the room is ready; you can call in later in the day to find out room number when room is ready.

Last Friday night, I spent one night in a Beach Club room (AP rate) prior to a three-night BCV stay. When I checked in to the BC on Friday evening, I told the CM at the desk that I wanted to check out of the BC and into the BCV before going to the parks the next morning, so I wanted to know how early I could check in. She said that I could check in as early as 6:00 AM. (I ended up actually showing up at the front desk just before 7:30 the next morning on my way to Early Magic Hour at the Studios.)

If 6:00AM is the earliest time you can check in (which seems reasonable to me) what's the latest time you can check in?

Given this is an air destination for many people I'm surprised you can't check in 24 hours a day....I've gotten into Florida at 4:00AM due to flight delays (obviously not going to Disney since I don't have the answer to this question).

I have checked in at 2 am due to flight delays.

I did call OKW and warn them that I was still coming!

I once checked into the Comfort Inn LBV at 7 am. I had a guranteed room the night before and had to spend 10 minutes convincing the desk clerk that I was entitled to a room NOW since they had charged me for last night! The Comfort Inn at that time seemed to believe that even if rooms were empty check in was 2 pm and that was the earliest you could have a room! (Basically, I wanted either a room or if they had re-leased my room a credit!) The manager agreed and gave me the room.
