What is the difference between Disney Dollars and Reward Dollars?

I keep reading all these posts about a deal through Bank One where if you open a new Disney credit card you get $50 reward dollars. Is this just a $50 a credit on your account? Or do they send you disney dollars? I'm going in November so it would be nice to take advantage of this deal.

Not sure what the rewards dollars are as I do not have a Disney VISA.

But Disney Dollars can be bought at Disney stores. They come in 1,5 and 10 demoniations. And can be used every where at DW or at the Disney Store.

You can also buy them at Guest Services at DW and change them back if you do not use them all.

Disney rewards are "points" earned by using your disney visa or received by the bonus you applied under. When you get $20 in disney rewards you can then transfer them to a rewards card which you request by phone or website. It looks like a gift card and can be used as such for about anything disney, both disney store and WDW. After your card is issued you can reload it each time you have at least $10 to transfer. It will be transfered to your existing rewards card at your request. You can also earn 1% in rewards for your purchases on your disney visa and some people have been offered double rewards during certain times. Hope this helps!

can be used at Disney World. I signed up for a Disney Visa because my other credit card had no rewards attached to it. This works for us, because we take a WDW trip once a year and I shop at the Disney store monthly. If you do not, you may wish to look into a different rewards card.
I do not know if Disney dollars are returnable once you buy them, or whether you can use them anywhere other than WDW. You can use Disney rewards at your local DS.

If you do not use all of your disney dollars, just exchange them for cash at a store in WDW.
