What is the current DAS like (compared to 2018), how does it work?

Haven't been since 2018. What is the current DAS like, how does it work? Add that in with Genie+, can someone bring me up to speed?

DAS works the same in the park, except now you can book the Return Time on the app instead of going to the attraction.

What is different is the option for pre-registration. With pre-registration comes Advanced Selections which can be pre-booked based on availability. The first post of this thread has all details; no need to read the rest of the discussion.
