Maybe if this generates enough discussion it'll be picked up as a show topic on one of the shows, but I was thinking earlier today: what is the Cosmic Ray's of the other theme parks?

And if a quick service restaurant doesn't come to mind immediately, I'll make it a little bit more interesting and say past or present quick service restaurants. That should give you some more options.

Are we picking on cosmic rays because their super outdated or very generic? I’m not a big fan, but it’s a nice place for a slab of chicken with some sides (obviously not memorable). Just wondering the criteria.

abc commissary and backlot express are both incredibly boring food and ambiance options at HS.

AK would have to be resturantasurus (did I spell that right?). Kids love it because there’s Dino’s and chicken nuggets.

also agree with above that sunshine seasons in Epcot (while a decent option when you need a QS comfortable with food allergies) is lacking

I love Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe... but how would you define the discussion? Especially now that most dining has been so restricted or stripped to bare bones. They tried to provide this to a lesser degree with the animated character roasting the meat for the Ronto wraps in Galaxy’s Edge... I think it has some commentary from the animation ?
The old fashion piano in the Diamond Horseshoe playing fake piano roll music? Really loud and more obnoxious than Cosmic Ray .
What about the other dining location in Galaxy Edge that spins a story as if the chef has just landed on the rooftop outer rim? Supposedly we can hear it landing or taking off...
I guess Olgas with fake bartender storyline In Galaxy Edge...

Okay, so I thought the question was straight-forward but apparently not.
As I'm sure you're aware from listening to the show, Cosmic Ray's has developed a reputation for serving dull, unimaginative food. You want something unique that you won't find anywhere else? Go to Skipper Canteen. You want some tasty thanksgiving comfort food? Head to Liberty Tree Tavern. You want a basic boring bland burger? Go to Cosmic Ray's. You want basic boring theme park food in general? Cosmic Ray's.

My response to the question asked, at least in my opinion, is:
Epcot - Electric Umbrella or The Odyssey (I did say you could include past quick service restaurants)
Hollywood Studios - PizzeRizzo
Animal Kingdom - not sure because I've never eaten there

I must love bland cause I also love Pizza Rizzo....

Doesn't Sonny Eclipse automatically disqualify Cosmic Ray's for the title of worst in MK? Is Pinocchio's Village Haus that much better???

oooooo but you can view the victims of it’s a small world from Pinocchio haus. And sometimes upstairs seating ?!? Surely people watching locations are better than a mostly broken Sonny Eclipse.
(Yes if you go to the back of cosmic rays there’s charging ports and you get to see the fireworks while eating dinner if they are still open.)

what about tomorrow land terrace? There’s no ambiance and the food sucks

what about the launching pad? (Edited because I forgot the name!) There’s no ambiance and the food sucks

AK is easy, Restaurantasaurus and Pizzafari fighting for that dubious distinction. What makes these two extra bad to me is the fact that AK has some of the best QS on property so they look extra terrible by comparison.

Epcot is hardest to pinpoint now that the two worst offenders imo are gone—Electric Umbrella is done and Liberty Inn was reborn as something a million times better in Regal Eagle. If WS has one though it’s definitely Lotus Blossom. Sub Panda Express level aspiring to be crappy airport food court stuff. I was forced to eat there in 2016 and it sat in my stomach for hours.

MK= Pinocchio Haus. The seating is great but the food is not that appealing. Cosmic Rays is a must do for the seating and I love the salads.
HS= PizzeRizzo. Backlot Express seems close second as it is pretty mediocre as well.
Ep= Lotus Blossom for sure. Again, nothing stands out here.
AK= Resaurantosaurus. Theming is great but....

With that being said, each one of these QS seem to have one item that stands out but not enough to satisfy everyone in our family.
