What is the construction at DCA

We are at VGC right now and our view is Paradise Pier. Can someone tell me what the building under construction right next to what was Mulholland Madness is, not the little mermaid ride, but on the other side, looks like a restaurant or counter service, or maybe another shop? Just curious.

It is going to be two restaurants and not sure if shops, too. When you go into DCA, there are signs on the fencing around that area that say - can't quite remember the names, but I think a pizza/salad place and ??

This is right. In DCA the walls have artwork of what is happening in the area. Not just about the new pizza and pasta place.

The only thing I can see for sure is a kind of totem pole for a column in the front.

Totems? No, there were Tikis as columns on Pizaa ooma wow wow which was styled for surfing in the south pacific.

If you look at the link I posted it has really good photos of the construction everywhere in the park.

It probably is tiki stuff, just looks like a totem from up here on the sixth floor. I did check out the link, thank you for that, and there are some great shots. There sure is a lot of new stuff going on here, lots to look forward to in the next couple of years.
