What is the closest off site hotel?

Is there one close enough to walk to? Or a short taxi ride? We want to do some clubbing at the end of the day and we won't have a designated driver.

Take your pick: Doubletree, Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, Extended Stay, Sleep Inn, Comfort Suites and others just across the street on Major Blvd...none more than a 10 minute walk from the parking garage.

The Hyatt and The doubletree is a ten min walk to Universal but you do have to cross Kirkman which is a busy road but we stayed at the Doubletree last year and walked a few day and managed it fine and they have free transportation to Universal and a taxi is about $5.00 each way.
Don't stay at the Days Inn it is a dump.

We stayed at the Sheraton Studio City which is half a mile away. Really nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
